AMPGAI appoints new office bearers

JAMMU, Jan 7: National President Aromatic and Medicinal Plants Growers Association of India (AMPGAI), Thakur Randhir Singh has appointed Mahipal Singh Rana, a progressive farmer from Haryana as Zonal Incharge APGAI to look after North Zone.
A handout stated that Dr Liyaqat Ali Magray has been appointed as Association President for J&K, Krishan Kumar Digra as General Secretary of J&K but he will also look after Punjab, Saifullah Khan has been appointed as President APGAI for Kashmir, Kuldeep Singh Jaral, as District APGAI President for Doda and Sarfaraz Magray as District Vice President of APGAI for Doda.
A handout stated that new office bearers of the Association have been appointed to organize the Association up-to village level to create awareness among farmers about aromatic plants.
Speaking on the occasion Randhir Singh said that resources are available in the form of aromatic plants and if these are properly explored in the UTs of J&K & Ladakh commercially these can generate job opportunities for youth.
