JAMMU, Aug 27: The Art of Living Jammu Chapter volunteers’ team organized ‘An evening of bliss’ for children at Ved Mandir Amphalla, here today.
During the event, the children participated in various games based on team building and mindful activities, followed by a 45 minute musical jam staged by guest singer Himanshu Gupta which enthralled the children.
Several NGOs and bloggers became a part of the lively musical evening. The children learnt some yogic and meditation techniques from the Art of Living volunteers’ team including Ritvik Mahajan, Akshita Sharma, Sunny Sharma, Dr Kanika Sharma, Dr Aashima Singh and Ranjoy Gupta to boost immunity and increase lung capacity during the event.
The aim of the event was to congratulate everyone associated with the Art of Living’s Sewa Projects for Jammu and uplift the children’s consciousness through dance, music, little yoga and meditation.
The session concluded on a patriotic note by Bhanu Mahajan, Councillor Gandhi Nagar and prayer by Himanshu Gupta, the guest singer. Later, the team of Art of Living presented goodies to guests and supporting members, sponsored by Sri Sri Tattva -an Ayurvedic and organic brand which aims to promote health and wellness among people.
The celebration ended with a vote of thanks by the team of Art of Living volunteers. They also hoped that more people would come forward for all future endeavours and Sewa Projects in the city and globally.
