Anand heads Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh Chapter of CAIT

JAMMU, Apr 15: Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), New Delhi, today launched its Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Chapter by appointing Neeraj Anand as president , CAIT Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
Anand, who is also National vice president, CAIT has been assigned the task to nominate working committees of all the three regions of the erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir.
Appreciating the services rendered by Anand, Parveen Khandelwal, Secretary general CAIT and BC Bhartia, National President in an official communication from Delhi further entrusted Neeraj to launch and monitor BharatEMarket, an unique ecommerce portal by the traders, of the traders and for the traders in Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
Amidst Covid protocols, a small media interaction was held at Amar Singh Club, Jammu where in Trade heads from various Bazaars were also present.
The function was presided over by Mahamandeleshwar, Anup Giri Ji , who showered his blessings on Anand and prayed for his success in the new assigned responsibility. SK Sharma, Addl Commissioner (Retd), Income Tax was the guest of honour while , Chander Mohan Gupta , Mayor the chief guest.
Sharma appreciated the role of CAIT and leadership qualities of Neeraj Anand. He also shared a brief about his experience in various fields and extended support to any genuine cause of businessmen in particular and common masses in general.
Chander Mohan in his address shared concern of business community related to GST besides touched upon the transformation of State into two UTs. He shared progress of various schemes and assured that efforts being put in to make Jammu an investor and tourist destination would certainly bore fruits.
Anand extended vote of thanks to all dignitaries and assured to work for the development of business in Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
