SAMBA, Mar 4: A 45-year-old man from Anantnag district was found dead in a private factory at Kartholi, Sarore area in Bari Brahamana town here today.
Ashraf son of Miyan Guggar of Astan Chack, Manzmoha, Anantnag, was found in injured conditions within the premises of MR Traders at Kartholi, Sarore, Bari Brahamana today, a police official said.
He was immediately taken to Government Medical College by the owner of MR Traders, Madan Mohan, where he was declared as dead on arrival, he said.
The deceased reportedly worked in the same factory where he was found in the injured conditions.
While the body of the deceased has been shifted to the mortuary of the Government Medical College Jammu, police have initiated inquest proceedings to ascertain the cause of the death of the individual.
