JAMMU, Mar 26: Shiban Krishan Kandroo was elected president of Anantnag Prabandhak Committee (APC) unopposed after the withdrawal of nomination papers by the rival candidate, Hira Lal Jad.
Bimal Krishan Wantoo, was elected vice president while Daleep Kumar Handoo was elected general secretary and Navin Bhushan as secretary.
Chief Election Officer APC declared the team elected as unopposed. The election process was notified on March 6, 2025, under the supervision of Chief Election Officer, B.L. Bhat and the Election Committee members. Nominations were invited for the positions of president, vice president, general secretary and secretary. The last date for withdrawal of nominations was March 25, 2025.
