AMRITSAR, Sept 11: Association of National Board Accredited Institutes (ANBAI) organized its Annual Conclave 2023 to recognize and celebrate excellence in medical education.
Dr Balbir Singh (Health Minister of Punjab), Dr Abhijat Sheth (president NBEMS), Prof Minu Bajpai (executive director, NBEMS), Dr Devi Shetty (patron, ANBAI), Dr Alexander Thomas (patron ANBAI), Dr S Rajasekaran (president, ANBAI), Dr Rahul Guha Biswas (secretary, ANBAI) and Prof (Dr) Jaspal Singh Sandhu (Vice-Chancellor, Guru Nanak Dev University) graced the event.
The Conclave was the presentation of the ANBAI Annual Awards, which were designed to honor outstanding educators in the field of medical education. These awards acknowledge the tireless efforts and dedication of educators who have significantly contributed to advancing medical knowledge and training future healthcare professionals.
It recognized the pivotal role of educators and offered an invaluable opportunity for NBEMS-accredited institutes from across India to engage directly with the senior leadership of the National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences.
The Conclave featured the prestigious ANBAI Annual Awards, honoring outstanding teachers in the field of medical education for their exceptional contributions and dedication. The prestigious awards of the event were the honorary ANBAI Lifetime Achievement Award to Dr Devendra Kumar Taneja, ANBAI Annual Oration Award to Dr H Sudarshan Ballal, the ANBAI Distinguished Teacher Award (Male and Female), The Young Achiever Award and The Distinguished Nurse Award.
Under the guidance and leadership of Dr Amandeep Kaur, the organizing chairperson and president of North ANBAI, this year, the event was being organized at Amandeep College of Nursing in collaboration with Amandeep Hospital which is a renowned healthcare institution known for its commitment to providing high-quality medical care and education.
