JAMMU, Dec 15: Angad Creations launched new segment of ‘Janavar’ shawls here today.
The launch of ‘Threads and Décor’ was carried out during a highly impressive function organized by the Management of the venture in presence of prominent persons of the society and regular customers of the brand.
While announcing the launch of ‘Threads and Décor’, founder of Angad Creations, Jaspreet Singh Bahri apprised those present on the occasion about the details of the new segment. He informed that this season they have made Janavar shawls in which there is papermashie along with hand Sucha Kashmiri tills to make this shawl look beautiful, formal and stunning.
The founder of the venture stated that Angad Creations is a Fashion Brand that specializes in Fusion Fashion viz-a-viz Kashmiri Embroidery. Recalling the history of the venture he said, Angad Creations established in 1992 starting with pure Pashmina Shawls, as of today excels in Fusion Kashmiri Embroidery on enormous range of products.
“Angad Creations has started its career from Angad Shawls. Till date we are manufacturing beautiful shawls and few of them we are getting it made from Kashmir in which our designer team assists the tracers to make new Khaka’s (designs) and then we make samples of colour combinations before putting them in production. As they are all hand spun and hand embroidery shawls so it takes months to years to complete one Janavar or Kalamkari shawls,” Jaspreet Singh said.
Appreciating the team behind the success of the enterprise, Jaspreet Singh Bahri said, “At Angad Creations, playing with embroideries since 1992, our design team is highly passionate about handicraft, fashion and accessories. Each member of the team is always aiming to develop something new out of the heritage embroideries.” He further added that making fusion the new Janavar Shawls are considered the best and are therefore in great demand in the market.
