Anganwadi Workers organise workshop

JAMMU, Jan 4: Anganwadi Workers Welfare Association here today organised a two day workshop on their issues.
While inaugurating the workshop, Ram Dass Pandey Incharge Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) for Northern States said, it is necessary for the trade union workers to introspect how much justice they do with their responsibilities as trade union leaders as far as welfare of workers is concerned.
He also said the trade union leader should do justice to their rights and duties.
Speaking on the occasion, Harbans Choudhary of BMS explained about the concept of social security and position of Aganwadi Workers in this regard.
Risham Singh Jamwal talked about the present scenario of employment in the country.
Neelam Sharma, Association General Secretary discussed the demands of the Anganwadi Workers while Ashok Choudhary stated that all the demands will be taken up with the administration and also alleged that the department is exploiting Aganwadi Workers and not releasing their salaries in time.
