JAMMU, Aug 18: Dev Raj Angral was today elected as president of the All J&K Dr Ambedkar Welfare Forum (AJKDAWF).
He was elected for the post unanimously by the members of the Forum in a meeting held today at Guru Ravi Dass Complex, Rajpura Mangotrian, Jammu. It was decided in the meeting that other office bearers of the Forum would be elected in due course.
Prominent members present in the meeting were Rashpal Digra, Romesh Angurana, Mangal Dass, Tarsem Loachan, Vijay Kumar Loach, Bachan Lal, Gouri Lal, Mohan Lal Baboria, Dalip Thapa, King Kumar and Raman Thapa.
During the meeting, members decided to hold a press conference on August 19 at Guru Ravi Dass Complex, Rajpura Mangotrian (Jammu) to highlight their support to Bharat Bandh call on August 21 in favour of reservation to SC/STs.
