JAMMU, Oct 9: The Government of India today empanelled 28 IAS officers of 1980 batch for appointment as Secretary/Secretary equivalent posts in the Centre.
The empanelled officers included two IAS officers of Jammu and Kashmir cadre. They are Ashok Kumar Angurana (Secretary) and P G Dhar Chakraborty (Secretary equivalent).
Mr Chakraborty is due to retire this month.
The Government of India issued a notification on empanelment of officers of 1980 batch of IAS as Secretary and Secretary equivalent today.
