JAMMU, Aug 5: The Bahu Plaza Occupants Association (BPOA) announced its elections results today during the general meeting, held at Bahu Plaza Complex, by election commissioners CA Sudhir Arora and Siddarth Sharma.
The election commissioners declared the new office bearers elected unopposed. For the post of president, Anil Gupta was declared elected. D K Pandoh was elected as vice-president, Naveen Gupta as general secretary and Raghav Gupta as treasurer.
The members present in the meeting reposed full confidence in the new body.
The elected team assured the members, present in the meeting, about their plans to upgrade the facilities provided to the occupants of Bahu Plaza and announced that in this regard, they would make representation to the Dy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh and Vice Chairman JDA for their support and cooperation to upgrade and maintain the décor of the Bahu Plaza complex and address the grievances of the occupants regarding various issues of additional parking facilities, cleanliness, beautification and opening of closed shops and offices.
Further, it was also enumerated that the Bahu Plaza Complex is nearer to the Railway Station and it should have standards of international feel so that the complex could give the pleasure and comfort to the customers, as this complex is the gateway of Jammu.
