Anila conferred Dr Harishanker Parsai Smriti Samman

JAMMU, Jan 9: International Sahitya Kala Manch Uttar Pradesh organized a two day seminar in Bhutan where Anila Singh Charak—renowned poetess and Vyangkar was conferred with Dr Harishanker Parsai Smriti Samman for her contribution in the elevation of satire at all India level.
A handout claimed that Anila is the only Vyangkar in Hindi in J&K who has the credit of writing satire and compiling it into books.
She was honoured amidst a large gathering where many writers from India participated.
Anila was also honoured earlier at many literary events for her excellent literary contributions in the form of ghazals, poems and satire.
She is a multifaceted personality who has won laurels in the field of paintings, radio plays and cricket.
Apart from that she is an eminent educationist and has served as Principal in Atomic Energy Education Society under the Department of Atomic Energy Commission Mumbai.
Anila has also won laurels by receiving Homi Bhabha Award apart from Best Book Award in 2008 by the Academy of Art, Culture and Languages J&K.
