JAMMU, Dec 1: A renowned writer, poetess, ghazalkar and vyangkar Anila Singh Charak has been conferred with Sahitya Vibhushan Samman by literary magazine Kavya Rangoli of international level for her enormous literary contribution.
The award will be given to her on 8th December 2019 at Mass Literary gathering in Lakheempur Kheeri UP. In this programme writers, journalists and social workers from India and abroad will participate.
Recently, Charak was conferred with Sahitya Rattan Samman by Kala Kendra Bhopal and Sahitya Vibhushan Samman is another feather in her cap.
In the past, she was conferred with many awards and honors for her literary contribution. Her contribution in the field of vyang is remarkable and she is the only vyang writer in Hindi in Jammu. Her satirical prose pieces are unmatched and have been read all over India.
Recently, her book “Shrotaon Ka Akal” (Vyang Sangrah) has been released in Kulu HP, which is being widely read and appreciated. She is a multifaceted personality who is dedicated to many fields like paintings, photography, drama writing and acting skills. She has enacted in many plays broadcasted from Akashwani Jammu and has participated in many workshops organized by National School of Drama and Sangeet Natak Academy.
She had been a national player in cricket and has undertaken many foreign tours as a writer and player. She had been working as Principal in Atomic Energy Central Schools/College in Atomic Energy Education Society under Department of Atomic Energy Mumbai and has been conferred with many awards as Principal.
