Anila receives Sahitya Shri Samman

JAMMU, Sept 19: A writer from Jammu and Kashmir namely Anila Singh Charak has been conferred with Sahitya Shri Samman by Bhartendu Harishchander Samiti, Kota.
The award has been given to her for exemplary contribution towards literature.
The award was presented to Charak on the eve of 165 jayanti of Bhartendu Harishchander by chief guest Subrata Saxena, Asstt Director, Air Travels, Mumbai. Around 20 writers received the award on the occasion.
Anila is serving as Principal in Atomic Energy Education Society since 2003 and has inclination towards radio plays, painting and photography. Many of her paintings have been exhibited on national level. Her book “Waqt Ki Ungliyon Ke Nishan”–(a compilation of poems) is going to be released soon.
