JAMMU, Feb 16: Anila Singh Charak has been awarded with the Keshardev Ginia Devi Bajaj Samman in Agartala, Tripura.
As per a statement, the prominent writer, poetess and, Gazalkar, and satirist has been awarded for her multifarious achievements in the field of literature, education and art.
In the award, Charak was presented with a Shawl, a memento, and a certificate by the Vice-Chancellor of Tripura University, Prof Satadeo Poddar.
Prof Poddar also complimented Charak for her contribution in the field of literature.
The press statement further said that writers, poets, and social workers from 16 States/UTs participated in the conference where Charak was awarded.
Anila also participated in a Grand Kavi Sammelan.
