JAMMU, Apr 30: AGM/ elections of Anjuman-e-Imamia Jammu a Shia religious and social body were held under the guidance of Chief Patron/Returning Officer Syed Ashfaq Hussain Kazmi and Senior Journalist and Coordinator of election Syed Sohail Kazmi here, today.
Syed Amanat Shah was elected as president, Syed Afaq Kazmi as vice president, Prof. Sujat Khan as general secretary, Syed Ayaz Naqvi joint secretary, Syed Amjad Shah Naqvi as cashier and Syed Kazmi Hussain Anjum as store incharge. All the members were elected unopposed and the team will work for next five years.
Notification of the election according to Constitution of the Anjuman under Section 23 was notified on April 22 where as April 26 was the last date for submission of all the nominations and April 27 was the last date of with drawing nominations.
