Anjuman Islamia holds protest

BHADERWAH, Sept 21: Anjuman Islamia held protest over human rights violation in Kashmir and increasing incidents to communalize the situation in Chenab valley.
Shops, business establishments and some private schools of particular community remained closed, however Government schools, offices and banks functioned normally and traffic ply on roads as usual.
Anjuman Islamia alleged that Kashmiris are facing worst kind of human rights violation for last 76 days and even minors and females are being subjected to inhuman torture.
President Anjuman Islamia Pervaiz Ahmed Sheikh said that they observed a complete and peaceful shutdown and also protested within the premises of Markazi Jamia Masjid to express solidarity with Kashmiri people.
Others, who addressed the protesters, include Mohammad Shafi Rafqui, Khan Mohammad Khan, Haji Ghulam Rasool, etc.
To thwart any untoward incident, elaborate security arrangements were made in and around Bhaderwah town.
