LOS ANGELES, Aug 12: Actress Annabeth Gish will reprise her role of FBI agent Monica Reyes in an episode of the upcoming six-part event series of 1993 TV show “The X-Files”.
Gish, 44, appeared in the final two seasons of the original series as an agent, who worked with Scully (Gillian Anderson) and Doggett (Robert Patrick), according to The Hollywood Reporter.
She first recurred in season eight before being promoted to series regular in the ninth and final season.
Gish has joined returning stars Gillian Anderson, David Duchovny, Mitch Pileggi and William B Davis. The revival also has tapped new guest-stars Robbie Amell, Lauren Ambrose, Joel McHale, Annet Mahendru, Rhys Darby and Kumail Nanjiani. (PTI)
