Jammu, Feb 15: Bishno High School, (BHS) Jad celebrated the annual day function with great pomp and show, here today.
On the occasion, Former Minister and senior Congress leader Sham Lal Sharma, who was the chief guest called for promoting moral education in all Government and private educational institutions to protect age old moral ethics and rich cultural heritage of the country.
He said “moral ethos are eroding constantly due to heavy influence of western culture in our society and need of the hour is to revive our age old traditions to save the Indian civilization
Later Sharma also distributed prizes amongst the students who excelled in academic and co-curricular activities.
Principal of School, Madan Choudhary highlighted the achievements of the school. He expressed his gratitude to the chief guest and parents for gracing the occasion.
Sarpanchs, Panchs, parents and large number of local people were present on the occasion.
