JAMMU, Dec 3: KV Nagrota celebrated its Annual Day amidst great zest, vibrancy and elation here today.
Brig AS Berar (VSM), BGS (Info Sys), HQ16 Corps and Chairman VMC was the chief guest and Col AK Mohanty, (SM) GS (Edu) and nominee Chairman VMC was the guest of honour.
The function began with the lighting of ceremonial lamp, which was followed by recitation of Sanskrit Shlokas, Saraswati Vandhana and welcome song.
Didar Singh Chahal, Principal KV Nagrota welcomed the guests, presented the Annual Report of the vidyalaya and highlighted its achievements in academic as well as co-curricular activities.
The students showcased their talents by means of group song, group dance, Hindi and English skits, mime and cultural dance performances.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest appreciated the spirit and confidence of the students and congratulated the Vidyalaya Parivar for its achievements.
