JAMMU, Dec 23: Annual exhibition-Aurora ‘the Dawn of Creativity’ was held at Presentation Convent Higher Secondary School Gandhi Nagar, wherein the students presented their exhibits.
The exhibits were judged by a panel of ten adjudicators from different walks of life including Home maker, Doctor, Professor, Alumni and parents.
Rt. Rev. Ivan Pereira, Bishop, Jammu-Srinagar Diocese, graced the event. Prof Anupama Vohra from Department of English, JU, Dr Shallu Sehgal, Association Prof., Rajni Khajuria, Assistant Prof., Manisha Sharma and Rama Chowdhary were the adjudicators of the event.
The programme began with a welcome song sung by students, followed by the students staged the adapted version of Charles Dickens’s novella ‘A Christmas Carol’ in the School auditorium. Ansuya Jamwal (KAS) hailed the efforts of the School in its journey towards excellence of education.
The adjudicators and parents appreciated the hard work of all the students and their teachers in putting up exhibits that displayed not only the subject knowledge of students but also their creativity.
The food stalls put up by students in ‘PCS Taste Town’ won the hearts of all as they enjoyed savoury eats.
