JAMMU, Sept 28: Chairman Wool and Woollens Export Promotion Council (WWEPC), Union Ministry of Textile, Romesh Khajuria has asked exporters to work towards achieving the target of one trillion USD export set by PM Modi by 2030.
Addressing the annual general body meeting of WWEPC in New Delhi, Khajuria said that export of woollen products has shown continuous growth in preceding years and it will register 14 per cent growth during the year 2022-23.
At the outset of the meeting, Khajuria complimented all members of the Council for their support in all endeavours of WWEPC.
He stressed on massive outreach programmes to make WWEPC popular and profitable and assured that the Council would work hard with support of members of the Committee for the development of woollen and hosiery industry to achieve new targets of export even in present tough critical situation.
