JAMMU, Dec 23: Annual hawan was solemnized by Shri Maha Ganesh Sabha, Frisal District Kulgam, here.
The residents of village Frisal and annexed mohallas of Shipora and Damidulla participated in the hawan held at Sharda Mata Temple Bantalab. The hawan concluded with puran ahuti.
Devotees from across India also participated in the hawan after traveling long distance. They felt nostalgic with their eyes welled with tears after meeting their nears and dears since mass exodus of community from Valley due to threats.
While speaking, Bharat Bhushan, President, Shri Maha Ganesh Sabha informed that the hawan was organized for peace and prosperity in the State. He appealed to the people especially the residents of village Frisal and annexed mohallas of Shipora and Damidulla to maintain communal harmony and brotherhood.
