JAMMU, Apr 18: Anoop Kumar has taken charge today as Zonal Manager, Northern Zone comprising of Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and Union Territory of Chandigarh.
Prior to this, he was holding the position of Director, Zonal Training Centre, Gurgaon which caters to the training needs of employees and all the distribution channels.
Mr Anoop joined LIC as a 14th Batch Direct Recruit Officer. He is a Post Graduate in Political Science, Licenciate from Insurance Institute of India and also has Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management.
He has a vast experience of about 27 years in Marketing and has served the Corporation as ABM(S), BM (I/C) & SBM (I/C).
He was Marketing Manager, SDM (I/C) of two Divisions for five years and Regional Manager (CLIA), NCZ- Kanpur for four years.
On promotion to ZM cadre, he handled important portfolios of Regional Manager (Marketing) in Eastern Zone- Kolkata and East Central Zone- Patna for 5 years and Regional Manager (P&IR) of Eastern Zone- Kolkata for one year.
