NEW DELHI, Mar 13: Minister for Information Technology, Technical Education & Youth Services & Sports Imran Raza Ansari today met Union Minister for IT & Telecom Ravi Shanker Prasad and discussed various mega projects of IT Sector in Jammu and Kashmir .
The Minister proposed an Electronic Cluster and a Cyber City in the State on the model of cyber cities like Hyderabad, Bangalore & Trivandrum for which the Union Minister assured of full funding from the Central Govt.
Mr Ansari stressed on involving the main electronic players of the country in this project so as to boost the employment & local manufacturing of the electronic items on the national specification. He also discussed the modalities for developing State Wide Area Network (SWAN) for which the Union Minister assured of the full funding on priority basis.
