JAMMU, Jan 7: A drug peddler was arrested with 4860 intoxicating capsules by Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) from Narwal area here today.
Hazrat Ali of Gujjarabad, Roop Nagar, Jammu was arrested from ISBT Narwal along with the commercial quantity of intoxicating capsules after a trap was laid out by a team of ANTF led by SHO ANTF under the supervision of Shamsher Singh, DySP ANTF, and overall supervision of SSP ANTF, Raj Kumar.
The accused has been booked in case FIR number 002/2024 Under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station ANTF and further investigation set into motion.
Meanwhile, Inspector Nayat Ali, who is investigating the case, has been asked to work on the backward and forward linkages and conduct financial investigation into the matter.
