JAMMU, Jan 8: The Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) has arrested two drug peddlers and recovered from their possession 260 grams of heroin.
Mohammad Amin of Billawar and Nasir Ali of Nakki, Majalta, Udhampur, have been arrested with the consignment from Narwal area by a team of Police Station ANTF led by SHO concerned under the guidance of DySP Shamsher Singh and SSP Raj Kumar.
The duo has been accordingly booked in case FIR number 03/2024 Under Sections 8/21/29 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station ANTF Jammu and further investigation set into motion.
Inspector Varuneshwar Singh, who is working on the case, shall work on the forward/backward linkages and conduct financial investigations into the matter.
