JAMMU, Mar 6: The Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) has booked a notorious drug peddler under the PIT NDPS Act.
An ANTF spokesperson said Tariq Hussain alias Taru of Village Meen Sarkar, Bari Brahamana, Samba was involved in murder and several NDPS cases.
Despite his involvement in several cases, he was continuously promoting drug abuse among the youth of the region, he said.
A detention order against the accused was also issued by the competent authority, said the ANTF spokesperson, adding that the warrant got executed today by booking the accused under the PIT NDPS Act on the direction of SSP ANTF J&K, Raj Kumar.
