KATHUA, June 11: Brahma Kumaries Ishwariya Viswa Vidyalya here today flagged off ‘Anti-Drugs Rath’ as part of Nasha Mukt Abhiyan.
Dr. Bharat Bhushan, Chief Executive Officer, Integrated Watershed Management Programme, J&K flagged off the especially equipped Rath from Kathua along with Brahma Kumari Veena, Head, Brahma Kumaries Kathua Centres in the presence of Dr. J.S Jasrotia, Child Specialist; Tarlok Nath Gupta, Senior Advocate; Brahma Kumari Sisters Mannu, Priyanka, Jyoti, Sushma, Rimpi and Tarsem Gupta of Kathua Motors.
Vinay Saxena, the Coordinator of the campaign apprised that three Raths carrying message of Drugs Free India started from Brahma Kumaries Headquarters, Mount Abu, Rajasthan about two years back and now one of that Rath has reached Kathua after covering Rajasthan, Haryana, Delhi, Uttrakhand and Himachal Pradesh. These vehicles make public aware through audio visual media on ill effects of drugs abuse.
Saxsena said that Rath will cover all the villages of Kathua propagating message of drugs free India before going to other states.
Dr. Bharat Bhushan expressed hope that our society especially youth will get the desired message so that the efforts of the organization bear fruit.
