KATHUA, May 20: A team of District Administration led by Tehsildar Kathua Gourav Sharma and police cops launched anti-encroachment drive at Palli Morh on Jammu-Pathankot National Highway.
Illegal structures raised by the people along highway were demolished during the drive.
Tehsildar Gourav Sharma told that legal notice was already issued to the encroachers to vacate the land because the construction works on sixth lane is going to start shortly.
The illegal structures coming on the way were razed down, he said, adding that a warning notice was also issued to people, but they did not followed the Government’s direction.
“Government took action and demolished the illegal structures today”, the Tehsildar informed.
