Anti-national forces should desist from disturbing peace: NAUP

JAMMU, Oct 22: National Awami United Party (NAUP) stands shoulder to shoulder with Indian armed forces in fight against inimical forces.
This was claimed by NAUP president, Sandeep Singh while interacting with media persons here today.
He lauded the efforts and sacrifices of armed forces while undertaking anti-terrorist operations and urged upon the civil society and political leaders to come together for ushering peace and tranquility in J&K as peace would trigger development.
The NAUP leader asked the J&K Union Territory administration to facilitate and create a suitable environment for political activism.
He warned anti-national forces to not test the patience of J&K people and desist from attempting to disturb peace.
“People of J&K had already suffered enough in the past decades and lost an opportunity to have a holistic development,” he maintained adding that there is an urgent need to strengthen the security grid in the backdrop of recent failed attempt of adversaries to create fear in the minds of general public.
Singh said that people of J&K have full faith in armed forces for defeating any nefarious design of inimical elements.
He appealed to the LG administration that problems of people must be addressed and stressed upon making administrative machinery more accountable and people friendly.
