Anti-Pak protest in Kathua, Nagri

JAMMU, Jan 12: Activists of BJP from Rajouri would march towards Line of Control (LoC) in Mendhar tomorrow while anti-Pak protests continued at Kathua, Nagri-Parole and some other parts of the region today.
A large number of people from border town of Nagri- Parole in Kathua held strong protest demonstration against the Pakistani forces for beheading two Indian soldiers on LoC in Mendhar area and demanded that India should give appropriate reply to such a barbaric act. They burnt the effigy of Pakistan and raised slogans against Pak Army and its President, Mr Zardari. The protest march was taken out in the main bazaar and majority of them were youth of the area.
Another protest took place in Kathua town today where people raised anti-Pak slogans and demanded direct action against Pakistan for this cowardice act of killing two Indian soldiers while performing guard duty at the LoC in own territory. They said such provocative act of the Pakistan troops can not be tolerated and deserved appropriate retaliation. Reports of similar protests were also received from Akhnoor and Nowshera.
Meanwhile, senior BJP leaders from Rajouri, Vivod Gupta, Bharat Bhushan Vaid and Yogesh Sharma said that BJP activists and other people will march towards LoC in Mendhar area to raise the morale of Indian forces. They said with the incident of beheading of two Indian soldiers and poor response of the Central Government, the morale of the forces has been lowered. They said the people of the entire country are with Indian forces and they will move with them shoulder to shoulder.
The BJP leaders said that party workers and other people in general will assemble at Tehsil Complex Rajouri and hold protest and then take out brief march in the main bazaar and board buses for Mendhar LoC to meet the forces of the unit where this incident has taken place.
