NEW DELHI, May 31:
Defence Minister A K Antony will articulate New Delhi’s views on ‘Protecting Maritime Freedoms’ at the 11th Asia Security Summit, also known as Shangri-La Dialogue, in Singapore on Saturday.
On the sidelines, Mr Antony will hold bilateral discussions with leaders from Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Singapore, South Korea, France, Canada and Tonga, Defence spokesperson Sitanshu Kar told reporters here today.
The Minister will leave for Singapore tomorrow and will be accompanied by a delegation including Defence Secretary Shashikant Sharma and the Chairman of the Integrated Defence Staff to the Chiefs of Staff Committee Vice Admiral Shekhar Sinha.
Mr Antony will return home on Sunday. (UNI)
