JAMMU, Dec 24: Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Anu Bali along with Naveen Bali, Senior Congress leader here today inaugurated drain work at Rehari colony area of Ward number 24 which will be completed at an expenditure of Rs. 3 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, Anu Bali appealed the general public to cooperate JMC in various development works undertaken by it in Jammu city.
She urged upon the residents to avoid single use plastic and polythene in their routine works and shun the habit of throwing debris, garbage and filth in drains and lanes.
The Councillor also urged upon the people to adopt the habit of segregation of dry and wet garbage at their own level so that Jammu can be made neat, clean and a beautiful city.
