SRINAGAR, June 6: Arup Raha, Air Officer Commanding in Chief, Western Air Command along with Lily Raha, president, Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Regional) paid an inspection visit to Air Force Station Srinagar.
They were received by Air Commodore, B Balachandran, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Srinagar, Preetha Balachandran and other senior officers.
On arrival, the AOC was presented a ceremonial Guard of Honour by a contingent of 53 Air warriors led by Wing Commander Ajay Ahlawat.
The Officer was given a presentation on operational role of Srinagar station. He visited each unit and section of the Station and assessed their operational capabilities.
He also interacted with the officers, Airmen, DSC personnel and the civilian staff of the station.
