SAMBA, Aug 16: Association of Industries Samba has assailed the PDD authorities for poor electricity supply to the industry.
In a meeting of the Association held with the AEE concerned here today, general secretary of the AOI Ashwani Abrol apprised him of the problems being faced by the industry. He asked the PDD officer for regular uninterrupted supply on feeder No. 2 of Industrial Growth Centre Phase-I, Samba. He said since the feeder also feeds to the old Vijaypur Transmission line, it becomes over loaded. Therefore, the industrial power faces frequent power cuts.
Mr Abrol said that power supply to the industry has been badly hit and measures be taken to improve the supply position. The AEE assured that he was aware of the problem and would try to rectify it as early as possible.
