TIRUMALA, April 19 : The most sought-after Tirumala Srivari Laddu Prasadams get ready for the celestial Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam.
The packing of mini-laddus (25 g) was carried out in Srivari Seva Sadan 1 in Tirumala with the help of Srivari Seva volunteers.
Around 1.20 lakh laddus were packed in 60 thousand zip-lock packets with two laddus in each pack by nearly 250 women and men volunteers under the supervision of Deputy Executive Officer (General) Siva Prasad and AEO Potu Srinivasulu on Friday.
These laddus will be offered as prasadam to the devotees who participate in the state festival of the divine wedding ceremony, Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam, that takes place between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. as part of the ongoing Sri Rama Navami Brahmotsavam at Vontimitta in Kadapa district on April 22.
