Apathy of BOSE authorities

Sir,
With reference to the news item, “Students denied continuation sheets” DE Mar 25 I have to say that such an action of denying continuation sheets to the students appearing in 12th Class examination in Higher Secondary School is really shocking and condemnable. Why should such an action take place when the candidates pay hefty amounts to the Board as printing charges?Above all denying continuation sheets is sure to affect them. Moreover the 12th class examination is a deciding factor in a candidates professional career when majority of the students choose the profession of their choice. How can such students expect a good result when they have not been able to do full justice in the paper for being denied the continuation sheets. What about the condition of the parents who spent huge amounts of money as fees and tuition fees to see the bright future of their wards is a question to be thought over ?
The board authorities, as such should take a serious notice of such a careless approach of the examination conducting authorities in general and of the said centre in particular. It is also the responsibility of the concerned superintendents to see whether they have been supplied sufficient stationery articles such as continuation sheets etc. Majority of the students of the centre will not have been able to do full justice to the paper for want of continuation sheets. So the Board authorities are enjoined upon to take measures at the time of evalvating the paper so that the hapless candidates are not denied justice who may otherwise suffer for no fault of theirs.
Yours etc….
