APMCC announces fast unto death

JAMMU, Nov 28: Expressing concern over the failure of Government to settle the genuine demands of the Minority Hindus of Kashmir who since the mass exodus of 1989-90 are putting up in different parts of the country, chairman All Parties Migrant Co-ordination Committee Vinod Pandita today announced sit on fast unto death from Porbandar Gujarat in support of his six point charter of demands.
In a statement issued here today Mr Pandita said that the fast will start from January 30 next year as Government failed to fulfill the promises made with his organization in October last year when Mr Pandita broke his 10 day long fast on the assurance of Minister of Medical Education, Youth Services and Sports. But till date the commitment was not fulfilled said Rao Narindera Singh newly appointed national coordinator of APMCC for the event.
APMCC is demanding dialogue with Pakistan to facilitate visit of Hindu pilgrims to world famous Sharda temple in PoK, establishment of Sharda Peeth University in J&K, probe into the multi crore temple shrine land encroachments, one time compensation for over-aged displaced KP youth and special employment package for non migrant Hindus of Valley.
