APMCC performs Pooja Archana at newly found lord Shiva cave

APMCC members performing Pooja Archana at holy cave of lord Shiva at Banihal on Friday.

BANIHAL (JAMMU), Apr 12: Scores of activists under the banner of All Parties Migrants Coordination Committee (APMCC) scaled mountainous track of Pir Panjal Range in Banihal town of district Ramban to visit the newly discovered thousands of years old holy cave of lord Shiva at 11500 ft above sea level and performed Pooja Archana on the first Navratra. They were also accompanied by scores of Muslim brethren of Banihal area.
Around 50 activists of APMCC led by Vinod Pandit, chairman, King C Bharati, senior journalist & its national spokesperson and Sandeep Bhat incharge Kashmir, converged at Banihal town on the first Navratra and proceeded to Krawa village on foot for the holy cave. They performed Pooja -Archana inside the cave were large number of Shiv Lingams are in abundance.
The yatra which comprised APMCC activists from Delhi, Kashmir and Jammu started their journey towards remote upper reaches of Pir Panchal range of mountains in Banihal area at around 12:30 pm and reached to the cave at 2 pm yesterday. Chanting religious hymns they also installed flags outside the cave.
The other members of APMCC team included TK Zutishi, Chand Ji Bhat, Anil Dhar, Sudesh Safaya, Sanjay Koul, Rockey Pandita, JL Pandita, Sunil Kumar Pandita, Suresh Bazaz, The cave which is without any visible end has large number of Shiv Lingams.
After performing the Dwar Pooja the activists also performed Pooja Archana inside the cave and offered flowers, Sindoor, Shankh Naad.
The activists of APMCC also distributed prashad among the devotees on the occasion. Vinod Pandit explained the historical background of such similar caves in the State.
He said the pilgrimage to cave will be an annual feature hence forth and entire Hindu samaj will participate in it.
