Apna Vihar residents demand repair of roads, drains

JAMMU, Sept 4: Apna Vihar colony residents have stated that two months back their deputation met Chief Engineer PWD and submitted a memorandum demanding repairs of roads and drains in the colony.
In a handout they informed that the Chief Engineer had assured them for survey and estimation work soon to take up the repair and construction work but over two months have passed no survey has been carried out for the necessary works to be executed.
They said that roads and drains in the colony are in dilapidated condition for a long time.
The residents appealed to the Chief Engineer to address the grievances else they will come on roads to protest against the apathy of the authorities.
