JAMMU, June 16: Apni Party Youth Wing today took out a motorbike rally in Jammu City against the drug addiction and increasing incidents of drug peddling which have played with the future of the youth in J&K.

He said that the purpose of the rally was to highlight the ill effects of drug abuse and to warn the youth that this habit would destroy their capacity to contribute to the progress of society as drugs would sap their energy and strength. He said that the bike rally should make people by and large wake-up to the dangers of drug abuse and decide to initiate some collective mass awakening.
He congratulated the Youth Wing and complimented the Provincial president Jammu Manjit Singh for having organized the massive bike rally.

“It has become a routine, we hear about the arrest of drug peddlers and seizure of narcotics and intoxicated capsules/injections but the roots where such supplies come must be exposed and the main source/suppliers of the drugs should be punished under the strict laws,” he said.
