Apni Party organises one day convention

JAMMU, July 14: Apni Party here today organised a one-day convention of party leaders and workers.
The convention was organised by district president, Jammu Urban, Pranav Shagotra in which senior party leaders including general secretaries, Vijay Bakaya and Vikram Malhotra; provincial president, Jammu, Manjit Singh and others were present.
In his address Vijay Bakaya said that Apni Party under the leadership of Altaf Bukhari is determined for restoration of statehood to J&K and preservation of its unique cultural and regional identity.
Speaking on the occasion, Vikram Malhotra said that recent devastation created by heavy rains has exposed the reality of smart city project in Jammu. He said, the people affected by the heavy rains should be compensated by the Government and adequate measures should be taken to avoid such devastation in future.
Provincial President, Jammu, Manjit Singh said that Apni Party has received overwhelming response from the people especially youth of J&K.
District president, Jammu Urban, Pranav Shagotra said that the party stands with the people of Jammu who have been left leaderless by the BJP.
Provincial secretary, Dr Rohit Gupta, OBC State coordinator, Madan Lal Chalotra, SC State coordinator, Bodh Raj Bhagat, Apni Trade Union, J&K president, Ajaz Kazmi, State general secretary Youth Wing, Abhay Bakaya, District vice president, Jammu Urban, Vaibhav Mattoo and others were also present on the occasion.
