Apni Party pledges to play vibrant role as opposition

JAMMU, Jan 2: Apni Party’s senior vice president Ghulam Hassan Mir, today reaffirmed party’s commitment to its core agenda of fostering lasting peace, sustained prosperity, and equitable development in Jammu and Kashmir.
“Although Apni Party did not win the elections, the people have given us a mandate to work in the opposition. This party will play a vibrant role in highlighting public issues, grievances, and the aspirations of the people.” Mir said while addressing party meeting in Jammu today.
Mir said Apni Party is basically committed to its agenda for peace, prosperity, and development of Jammu and Kashmir, and the party will continue its efforts to realize this agenda, irrespective of whether it holds power or remains outside it. The party has garnered significant support from the people to serve as a vibrant opposition. Apni Party will carry out this role with utmost dedication, he added.
The party leaders during meeting held thorough discussions on the current political scenario in J&K, pressing public issues, and key party matters. They exchanged views and shared ideas, outlining a strategy to further strengthen the party.
Provincial president Manjit Sing urged the party leaders and senior workers to remain politically active and enhance their public outreach activities in order to remain closely connected with the masses.
“It is our responsibility to highlight the pubic issues and grievances bring these issues into the notice of the concerned officials. For this, we need to remain connected with the people at the grassroots level. I request you to enhance your public outreach activities in your respective areas,” he added.
On this occasion, the leaders and senior workers pledged to continue their efforts to realize the party’s agenda of ensuring peace, prosperity, and development in Jammu and Kashmir.
