Apni Party reiterates demand for holding early Assembly polls in J&K

JAMMU, Mar 6: Apni Party has reiterated demand of holding early Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.
In a statement to the press, Apni Party General Secretary Vikram Malhotra said that the Delimitation Commission should not be taken as an excuse to stretch the rule of Lt Governor in J&K.
“The Govt of India should understand the ground reality as the people are in distressed without an elected Govt. The LG is doing good job, but it does not mean that the people are satisfied. The administration does not listen to them, and LG cannot handle it all alone. Therefore, elections should be held as early as possible in J&K,” said Malhotra.
He was addressing a function at Kachi Chowni in which large numbers of youth joined the Party in presence of senior leaders. The programme was organized by Janmeet Singh Bali.
Speaking on the occasion, Provincial President, Jammu, Manjit Singh said that the youth are facing unemployment and the scope of getting Government service has reduced.
“The JMC is not listening to the representatives and doing work with their own wishes. The BJP is working with adamant attitude,” he added.
Prominent among those who joined Apni Party included Sandeep Sharma (Bunty) youth leader, Mandeep Kumar, Viraj Sharma, Amit Kumar, Deepak Kumar, Manzoor Hussain, Paramjeet Singh, Suresh Kumar, Nikhil Sharma, Tarun Sharma, Varun Gupta, Sanjay Gandotra, Sumit Singh Jamwal, Prashant Malhotra, Rattan Lal Tak, Vimal Vinod Sharma, Ashok Bhagat, Abhishek Singh, Rahul, Ravi Kumar, Ranjeet Singh, Mohan Singh, Rahul Mahajan and others.
Those who participated in the function included Jammu Central Coordinator Pranav Shagotra, President Trade Union Ajaz Kazmi, Vice President Youth Wing J&K, Raqeeq Ahmed Khan, Provincial President Youth Wing Jammu Gourav Kapoor, Vajinder Singh Dutta, Raj Kumar Sharma, Vaibhav Mattoo, Amandeep Singh Chopra and others.
