Apni Party takes lead to initiate political process in J&K: Malhotra

JAMMU, Mar 14: The J&K Apni Party has claimed that they have taken lead to initiate political process in J&K for the betterment of the people.
“We were the first political party which had initiated the political process when other political parties opposed to it after August 5, 2019,” said Apni Party general secretary Vikram Malhotra in a joining function organized at Bhawani Nagar (Ward No 31), West Constituency in Talab Tillo.
The programme was organized by the SC leader Suresh Rana. Welcoming the new comers into the party folds, Malhotra said that their stand vindicated that the major political parties has also realized the importance of elections and now they are willing to contest it even in Union Territory.
Speaking at a function, he said that “It is good that the political parties have realized the futile rhetoric of getting back Articles 370 and 35A. Apni Party stands firmly to the demand of restoration of statehood to J&K.”
Provincial president, Jammu, Manjit Singh, said that the participation in political process is important to redress the issues of the people.
“Govt without public participation cannot do welfare project. It is therefore, the Assembly elections should be held as early as possible. Delaying elections will add more worries for the people and it is not in the interest of J&K,” Manjit Singh said.
Singh said that the political Govt works for the people as they are answerable to them. “The administration does not listen to the public and developmental projects are going on with snails pace,” he added.
SC State Coordinator Bodh Raj Bhagat highlighted the issues of down trodden community. Bhagat said that the administration allegedly neglect their localities. OBC State Coordinator Madan Lal Chalotra said that the people belonging to all the Sections of society are suffering in present situation and there is feeling of alienation from the administration.
Provincial president, Jammu, Youth Wing of the party, Gourav Kapoor also sdpoke on the occasion.
