JAMMU, July 16: Maintaining that BJP is a true secular party former Deputy Chief Minister and senior party leader, Kavinder Gupta today said that his party takes care of the aspirations of every community without indulging in “appeasement politics”. Addressing the new entrants to party at Gandhi Nagar here today, he said that under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi the youth feel connected to the nation and BJP party. The BJP is undoubtedly the first and only choice of the youth. He also stated that BJP is always standing besides the youth to help and solve their issues, he added.
Kavinder while making a dig at Congress party said the Congress is ruled by one family and Sonia Gandhi’s return at the helm of party affairs recently proves it. He said the Congress is not able to find a single leader out of the Nehru-Gandhi family.
Kavinder Gupta said that the BJP is able to pave the way for a new India which is evident in decisions taken by the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister, Amit Shah on Article 370.
He said the scrapping of Article 370 has undone all the “mischiefs” Jammu and Kashmir was subjected to in the past decades. He shared with the youth that the Domicile Law empowers residents of the Union Territory of J&K to vote and property rights and this is possible due to the party’s ideology of keeping the nation first.
Over a dozen youth on the occasion joined BJP in presence of Kavinder Gupta in presence of councilor Ajay Gupta and other activists.
They were welcomed into the party fold by Kavinder Gupta and Ajay Gupta, who expressed hope that the new entrants would work whole heartedly to strengthen BJP in their respective areas. Kavinder praised these youth saying that they would prove to be asset for the party in the coming days.
He stated that the entry of youth would enable the BJP scale victory in every election and follow the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s policies and work for the nation and promote the Aatam Nirbhar Bharat (Self Reliant India).
The new entrants expressed gratitude to Kavinder Gupta for welcoming them into the party fold and assured of working with dedication to extend the BJP’s ideology across the length and breadth of the region.
Corporator Ajay Gupta, Vishal Gupta, Mandal Secretary Gandhi Nagar Nitin Thapa and Arjun Suri were also present on the occasion.
