Apple Kids holds Storytelling Competition

JAMMU, Feb 9: Apple Kids International Pre-school, Bantalab today held a Story Telling and English Poem recitation competition at the school premises, here.
Students of Play Group and Pre- Kg participated in the poem recitation while other students of Junior-Kg and Senior- Kg were involved in the story telling competition. Full of enthusiasm, these students recited poems and stories which enthralled everyone.
Around 256 students participated in the competition and out of these ten were selected from each class for finals. In the finals, three students who were the best speakers from each class were adjudged as first, second and third.
“Story telling can encourage development of emotions and feelings in a child”, said Director of the school, Arti Sharma.
Director also applauded the efforts of the students while announcing the names of the winners. Among others, Seema Sharma, Isha Singh, Anupam and Akshi Sharma were also present on the occasion.
The Results:
Play Group: (Poem Recitation): Nandini Jamwal, Ist; Kovid Dhar, 2nd and Arshita Raina, 3rd.
Pre-Kg: (Poem Recitation): Angel Bhagat, Ist; Aadhya Sharma, 2nd and Anirudh, 3rd.
Junior-KG: (Story Telling): Mrinallini, Ist; Aradhya, 2nd and Tamana, 3rd.
Senior-KG: (Story Telling): Arshiya Sharma, Ist;  Nirav, 2nd and Nimish, 3rd.
