Appointment of 19 orderlies cancelled

JAMMU, Nov 26: Government today ordered cancellation of appointment of 19 orderlies in the J&K Secretariat (Sub-ordinate) Service.
According to the order, on the recommendation of the Selection Committee, 147 candidates were appointed as orderlies in the J&K Secretariat (Sub-ordinate) Service and were directed to report to Additional Secretary, GAD (Establishment) within 21 days from the date of the issuance of the order.
Twenty-one candidates failed to join within the prescribed period of 21 days and they were directed to explain their position within 15 days, out of which only 2 candidates namely Mohammad Hasieb Bhat and Komal Bhagat submitted their representation and joined their services.
Accordingly, the appointment of 19 persons as orderlies in J&K Secretariat (Sub-ordinate) Service has been cancelled ab-initio.
The candidates, whose appointment has been cancelled are Madeeha Muneer, Harish Sharma, Mir Zeeshan Ali, Burhan Hamid, Waseem Hussain, Umar Fayaz, Suhaila Akhter, Deepak Sharma, Sajad Ahmed Kumhar, Manish Sharma, Sahil Choudhary, Mir Jasif Bashir, Ishfaq Ahmad Wani, Muzaffer Hussain, Mamta Kumari, Waqar Azir Lodhi, Mudasir Fayaz Shah, Mohammad Rafiq Gagi and Aijaz Ahmad Gorsi.
