APS BD Bari celebrates Annual Day

JAMMU, Nov 26: APS BD Bari celebrated Annual Day function with pomp and show, here today.
The school showcased a power packed show, which commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Chairperson, Brigadier Yashpal Singh, chief guest on the occasion and Anita Yashpal, Chairperson FWO, as the guest of honour alongwith the Principal APS BD Bari.
The Annual report was read out by Principal APS BD Bari enumerating the achievements made by the school in various curricular and co-curricular fetes during the Academic Session 2014-15 respectively. The entire programme revolved around the theme of “UTSAV- The Festive Colours of India”.
An invocation to God Sun with ravishing dance performance was presented by the students of the school providing an auspicious beginning to the event, which was followed by plethora of events like performance of students on welcome song, followed by traditional dance form of Kathak, Marathi Dance,performance on peppy dance no. “Lungi Dance”performed by the students of class 3rd. The “Contemporary Dance1” form was a worthy successor to the melodious & feet tapping “Salsa”. Then came the upbeat “Diwali Ballad” and finally the “Bhangra”. The zeal & zest of the students was explicitly exhibited by their performance on various peppy dance numbers.The most riveting performance which drew an unceasing applause was school “orchestra” & “Band performance” by students.
Chairman Brig Yashpal Singh extended his thanks to everyone for making the show a success.
